Watertight Doors a Success for Australian Navy

Westmoor have successfully tested watertight doors to 15 PSI for the Royal Australian Navy, who are undertaking a major refurbishment project of the combat logistics vessel HMAS Success (II).

The doors were designed, manufactured and tested by Westmoor Engineering in-house. The tests were externally witnessed and verified by leading compliance company Bureau Veritas.

HMAS Success (II) is an Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOR) vessel of 18,000 tonne fully loaded and 157.2 metres in length. She is the largest ship built in Australia for the Royal Australian Navy and also the largest ever built in the port of Sydney.
